Deborah Starewich has designed a beautiful cover for the upcoming special edition of Voices in Italian Americana (VIA). The issue is dedicated to new Italian American folktales. I’ve already read some great stories for the issue. Submissions are open until June 1 (see writers’ guidelines here). The cover is a stunning piece of art by the Italian painter Alessandro Andreuccetti.
